Mailordercomics.com Experiment: Final Findings
Ok well i gave it a go and decided it's probably not for me.
I'm just too impatient to wait an extra week for my floppies. i thought about continuing to use them for trades and HC (etc.) only, but realized that i'd pretty much lose out on any savings with the shipping (especially considering shipping for books is typically free for me from instocktrades.com or Amazon).
So long story short - I cleared my pull list and shopping cart for August's previews and think i'll stick to a weekly LCS visit for flops (that's a fun trip anyways) and instock or Amazon for trades/HCs.
Se la vie. Mike is a super cool guy with a great service and i'd LOVE to give him my business (he's so cool i've been trying harder to think of reasons to continue than to quit) but what can i do? It's just not for me (at the moment at least).
