Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures Vol. 4

Not sure how many Genndy Tartofsky (sp?) fans we have around here but if there are any (and there sure as hell should be; personally i'm a HUGE fan) - you shouldn't be missing these sweet little collections.

The short stories collected in Clone Wars Adventures have much of the same magic as the Tartofsky cartoons (from CN) and for like $5 for 4 shorts you can't really miss.

All 4 volumes take place somewhere during the clone wars (like between the IInd and IIIrd movies) and all your favorite characters make appearances - there are great shorts through the 4 volumes involving Mace Windu, Annikan and Obi Wan, Yoda, Greivous and Dukoo (among many, many others), with constant clone army appearances.

The art (handled by a couple of brothers) is pretty damn reminiscient of the cartoons - and that's a good thing. The stories are fast-paced, easy on the eyes and just plain fun to read. These are the perfect little companions for time alone in the "home office" if you know what i mean ;)

Keep it up Dark Horse - I miss Genndy on CN so damn much that these little books are my only respite from my Sam Jack and Clone Wars cartoon withdrawals... Like all short story collections there's a "hit and miss" factor but many more gems than turds.B+.

Zilla is not my real name.

I'm from Tejas living in VA. I'm married w/ 2 dogs. I'm an IT security consultant cranking the wheel for a big consulting firm in "real" life.

I watch the History Channel, Nat'l Geo, TLC, Mil Channel, ESPN and NFL Network, CourtTV (forensic files, etc.) and the Cartoon Network (love Genndy T's Samurai Jack and Clone Wars Adventures). My taste in movies: Gladiator, Last Samurai, Braveheart, Godfather, Tarantino (whatever), Kung-Fu (whatever), Westerns, Top Gun, Big Lebowski.

I love the outdoors and bs'ing around w/ my dogs.

In addition to being a comics junkie, i'm also a sports junkie especially when it comes to the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys.
